  • About Our Organization

    The Treasure Coast chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) represents over 50 non-profit organizations in Martin and St Lucie County, FL. The chapter was chartered in October 1994 as a spin-off of the Palm Beach Chapter to serve Martin, St Lucie and Indian River Counties (Treasure Coast). Growth among Indian River members led to sponsoring those members to charter the Indian River chapter in January 2007. We then assisted in the launch and co-sponsored the Space Coast Chapter in 2008 and use this sister chapter as the NPD Judges Panel.

    Our vision is to always be the ‘go to’ organization for non-profit organizations and donors in the area we serve. Our mission is to strengthen philanthropy in Martin and St Lucie County, FL. through professional development and ethical fundraising practices.
