(Orlando, FL - June 1, 2010) The “VOTE NO on 4” campaign today fired the first salvo in the online battle over Amendment 4, launching a coordinated “web splash” that includes targeted online advertising, a revitalized website, interconnected social networking, and a new web-video featuring Florida’s leading Editorial Boards—which have overwhelmingly opposed Amendment 4.
“Our online campaign focuses on how Amendment 4 will cost jobs and hurt the economy,” said the campaign’s executive director, Ryan Houck. “That’s the same message our grassroots team has been communicating to thousands of Florida voters for months. And now, we’re taking that message to the web.”
Houck called the new website a “grassroots portal” where Floridians can learn about Amendment 4, educate others, and make an impact by taking “instant action.” The campaign’s website remains www.florida2010.org. “It’s about encouraging voters to learn, lead and take action,” said Houck. “This ‘web splash’ is the first shot in a broader online campaign.”
