FMCCA’s “GREAT DEBATE” ON HOMETOWN DEMOCRACY IS JUNE 9


Six candidates - three from each party - have agreed to participate in the “Great Debate” sponsored by
the Federation and two online newspapers on the controversial "Hometown Democracy" (Amendment 4)
measure that qualified for the November 2 ballot.


The Great Debate will take place on Wednesday, June 9, from 6:30 PM to 8:45 PM at the Manatee
County Central (Main) Library, 1301 Barcarrota Blvd. West , in downtown Bradenton in the library's main
second-floor meeting room. The site is equipped with projectors and screens for presentations and other visual
and audio aids, including Wi-Fi.


Please arrive before 6:30 PM so the debate can begin promptly.
