ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Craig T. Chindemi, CFRE, was named Vice President and Chief Philanthropic Officer for Martin Health System in December 2012.
Chindemi comes to Martin Health with more than 25 years of experience in fundraising for health care, higher education and national social service agencies. Most recently, he served as vice president for institutional advancement at Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y.
In his capacity at Martin Health, Chindemi will oversee the Martin Health Foundation, including all fundraising and philanthropic endeavors for the not-for-profit health system
A member of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals since 1987, Chindemi has served a wide variety of organizations, including: the Paralyzed Veterans of America; Community Counseling Services, Nova Southeastern University and St. Thomas University in Miami.
He has also counseled campaigns for health care providers, including the Jackson Memorial Hospital Foundation in Miami, Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia and the National Dialogue on Cancer in New York.
Mr. Chindemi is a graduate of St. Thomas University and Nova Southeastern University where he earned his bachelors and masters degrees respectively. He earned the Certified Fund Raising Professional (CFRE) designation in 1992.

The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy supports programs and initiatives that help train fundraisers and increase knowledge and awareness of ethical fundraising. AFP Treasure Coast was chartered in 1994 and its mission is to strengthen philanthropy in Martin and St Lucie County through professional development and ethical fundraising practices.
