STATEMENT BY MARK WILSON FOR FLORIDIANS FOR SMARTER GROWTH "Tonight it is clear: Hometown Democracy fell short again and did not submit enough signed petitions to qualify for a 2008 vote. This marks the third time the "Vote on Everything" amendment failed to make the ballot. Florida once again dodged a bullet, but voters will likely see one more ricochet because the bullet will be on the ballot in 2010.
